As someone who watched the Lion's King many years ago, I remember I did like some of the songs in the movie.
My favourites were the opening song, Scar's song, hakuna matata, and possibly one other relating to Simba. I found the movie surprisingly enjoyable all in all.

Ah, I understand. I also like the Scar song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXYlMHvn3jkYeah, its a "dark song" in some ways, but also kinda cool.
^Of course, I support Simba in the plot. Scar just isn't a very good King, turning the whole land into a wasteland and all of that. But his song is cool, so that makes up for it!
