I love ancient history, especially the pre-Roman and Roman period!

Nice thread!
I too have taken a fondness for ancient history later, especially after completing AC: Origins (surprised Ancient Egypt was such an interesting setting), though I am also fond of modern history, and the roman period is definitely interesting.
In modern history, French Revolution, wwi and wwii, as well as more contemporary history, is interesting to me. I have read some biographies in relation to these, like Napoleon and Jean Baptiste Berndaotte for example.

In more recent history, both WWII and the cold war, and WWI are interesting.
